Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Health Outlook handles information when you use the Health Outlook Trainer mobile app, this website, support channels, and related services.
Effective August 25, 2026
Information we may collect
- Account and profile information, such as your email address, display details, fitness goals, experience, preferences, and available equipment.
- Training information, including programs, workouts, sets, repetitions, weight, notes, progress, exercise choices, and custom exercises.
- Health and activity information you choose to authorize from Apple HealthKit or another connected source, such as workouts and daily health summaries.
- Messages and content you submit to coaching, planning, search, feedback, or support features.
- Technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as device, app version, authentication, diagnostics, crash, security, and request-log information.
How we use information
- Provide authentication, account access, workout planning, progress tracking, connected-health features, and customer support.
- Personalize training recommendations and respond to requests you send to AI-assisted features.
- Maintain reliability, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, protect accounts, and improve the app and website.
- Meet legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.
Health data
HealthKit access requires your permission. You can deny or change permissions in iOS settings. We use connected health data only to provide health, fitness, and app features you request—not for targeted advertising, sale to data brokers, or unrelated marketing.
Health Outlook Trainer is not a medical device, and its training and AI-assisted output is not medical diagnosis or treatment.
AI-assisted features
When you use coaching or planning features, relevant messages and account context may be sent to contracted AI service providers to generate a response. Do not include information you do not want processed for that request. AI output can be incorrect and should be reviewed before you act on it.
When information is shared
We may share information with service providers that help run hosting, databases, authentication, AI processing, diagnostics, security, and support. They may process information only for the services they provide to us and under applicable contractual restrictions.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets with appropriate notice and safeguards.
We do not sell personal information or HealthKit data.
Website data
This website serves public pages and assets. Its hosting provider may process standard request information, including IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamps, for delivery, security, and operational logging.
The current site contains internal interaction-measurement code. No third-party analytics library is currently loaded, so those events are logged only in local development unless analytics is configured later. This policy must be updated before any new analytics or advertising technology is enabled.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Retention periods depend on the type of information and why it is processed.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your information. You can also withdraw connected-health permissions through your device settings.
Email support@getmypersonaltrainer.com from the address associated with your account to make a privacy or account request. We may need to verify your identity before completing it. You can also permanently delete your account and associated app data from Profile in the mobile app.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice when required.
